Making the Rounds
1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?

Gandalf - I watched The Hobbit a lot as a child, so this is probably the closest thing to a superhero I had, for quite a while. He could do magic - if I have to choose between flying, invisibility, and doing magic, I go for magic every time.

2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?

Butterbear. That's the only one I can think of.

3.What's the furthest from home you've been?

Pisa, Italy.

4. What'sre one five thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?

German, Automobile Repair, Russian, Sewing, and Welding.

Well, I've got sewing and welding down. Sewing I could teach you easily, if you'd like. Welding requires more equipment than I've got easy access to. (But maybe this summer, if you're up for illegal late-night raids to the Penumbra scene shop.)

I want to learn German, too. I should be able to read Kant in the original.

Goethe and Rilke, for me
I'm game - and I imagine that any summer job I'll be able to get will allow certain late-night "indiscretions," so to speak ;)
