Someone called in to the show to request a song. It turns out they just wanted a song played for them, with their name on the radio - they didn't care which. They told me to pick whichever one was my favorite at the time. So I played "Let Your Body Die," by C-Tec.

Julia, whoever you are, I hope you're not horribly, horribly offended.

That's great. But I don't think she's going to listen to your show again *grin*. You should have given a disclaimer.

I think she's the one who's called in every week for the last four weeks. She keeps requesting random shit that I don't have - like Basement Jaxx or A Tribe Called Quest. I play a fucking techno/metal/industrial show - what are the odds I would have either of those?

I think she knew what she was gonna get. And I gave it to her, baby.

Please don't call me baby. It disturbs my bowels.

Uh... Basement Jaxx is fucking techno in the same vein as a lot of stuff I've heard you play... I would've assumed that the station had Rooty and that you'd be willing to play it if I didn't already know how much the station sucked...

How many times do I have to explain to you that I am a moron?

*ahem*

*koff, koff*

"mi-mi-mi-mi-miiiii......"

"WHERE'S YO HEAD AT? WHERE'S YO HEAD AT?"

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. You've been a great audience, really, folks.

Hilarious.

But the concept of the disclaimer could be amusing.

I would consider it, and start tapping my writer-friends for material.
