Recipes I Found (And am too excited about trying)
So, now that I'm living off-campus, I have to cook for myself. When I find recipes worth saving, I'll probably put them here, because where else will I remember them?

Anyway - so, on the quest for "Special Beef with Bell Peppers:" here, here, and here

And, for some reason, Hot Dog-Fried Rice. Why has nobody else heard of this?

Also, Whole foods has an entire page of recipes for the organic gourmand. And "one dish" recipes are here.

There are a lot of recipe communities, as well. I'm in vegrecipes, which is vegetarian/vegan recipes...

Right. Recipes.

Epicurious is the webpage for two gourmet magazines, Gourmet and Bon Apetit. They've got good features, mouthwatering recipes, new stuff every month, and a create-your-own-recipe-box feature. Saveur, another magazine frontpage, has some recipes and a lot of really great "history of" stories about certain foods or regions (this is where the recipes come in). They were the ones who had the bit I posted about Sake awhile back.

P.S. I've made "hot dog with fried rice." I didn't realize there was a recipe for it...I just thought it might work as an add-in for a boxed fried rice dinner. It didn't. The flavors don't go well with Mexican dishes. They might with Asian, but who knows.... Mac&Cheese with hot dogs chopped up and thrown in, on the other hand, was my favorite food ages 6 through 20. At which point I'd eaten so much of it it joined the list of favorite foods, but not the very top.
