On matters numismatic

I save a lot of change - it started when we began playing penny poker (which we've stopped doing a long time ago, and should start up again some time, because it's fun). I keep my pennies in an old peanut butter jar; nickels and dimes go in an old teriyaki sauce jar another, and quarters go in a different teriyaki sauce jar. When I was doing laundry one day, I got ever more bored than I already was, and I decided to see how many of each kind of state quarter I have. Turns out it was quite the diverse jar of quarters, and three Whitman coin folders later, I have a nigh-complete collection of U.S. State Quarters.

The only quarters I am missing are Philadelphia mint quarters from the following states: Vermont (2001), Maine (2003), Michigan (2004), Texas (2004), California (2005), Kansas (2005) (Thank you, Sinister Dr. X), North Dakota (2006), and South Dakota (2006). If you run into any of these and think you might bump into me, I will gladly exchange other quarters for them.

PS - Since I'm on vacation all of this week, I will post something more substantial later.
