Since this managed to come up at least once a week during my 4.5-year college experience, this is a friendly reminder to everybody I have ever known that I never want to have this conversation ever again.

I've probably said it before, but the whole debate has become of those why-should-I-care sort of things to me after seeming cool for about ten minutes in junior high.

I have to admit it seems more critical when one is a fundie Christian and doesn't want to go to hell, though.

There is a proper response to this line of thought:

1) Hit/Pinch the person.
2) Proclaim it was pre-determined therefore unavoidable and therefore you have no responsibility for your actions.
3) Watch the hypocrisy unfold.

You had someone talk about that to you weekly during college? Or did it come up every week in one class or another? Either way, that would suck.

It definitely felt like it came up every week, in both contexts. It was really LAME ASS.
