Hoc Est Qui Sumus

I know it's been awhile, so for the meantime, let's all pretend my medication is working and get down to things happening.

One: I saw Resident Evil last night, at the behest of AlphaBitch, Erragal, and Smokes with a Twitch Uriah. Read the Ebert review for all the details you ever need know (and which is also really funny).

Two: Poetry class seems to be going well, Real isn't, and I just dropped German like a (fill in simile here).

Three: I'm getting better, but every day is like Brad Pitt in Ocean's 11:

Pitt: Are you crazy?

Damon: Are you suicidal?

Pitt: Only in the morning.

It's really the combination of "medication doesn't last as long" and "intestinal surgery makes every morning feel like a hangover for about an hour."

Four: I don't eat so good. In fact, I can't eat much of anything. It will be a long time before I can eat as much as I used to. Consequently, I'm really tired after about three in the afternoon, every day.

Five: I need to talk to people, in person, and some of you will never be around. But, I can wait.

Remember: the man who played Richard M. Nixon in Frost/Nixon is the same man who played Skeletor in The Masters of the Universe.
