Call me an idiot,
But I think this might actually be a good year for movies. Here's a list of movies that might show some promise in the upcoming months. Feel free to correct me if they will, in point of fact, just suck.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I don't care about the Internet pundits - I'm going to see it)
xXx: State of the Union (I liked the first one, and will hopefully like this one for similar reasons)
Kingdom of Heaven (Ridley Scott + The Crusades = Oh Yeah!)
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (The Catharsis!)
Hauru no ugoku shiro (Miyazaki!)
Unleashed (Jet Li + Bob Hoskins = I WANT TO KNOW)
Batman Begins (I have hope. I have hope. I have hope . . .)
Land of the Dead (George Romero + Zombies = Should be Good)
Undead (okay, this one will probably suck, but it looks cool)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Hopefully not a train wreck)
The Island (Ewan MacGregor in Sci-Fi dystopia. I hope he doesn't get typecast.)
The Brothers Grimm (Terry Gilliam, baby!)
Nochnoy dozor (Russian film about the forces of light and darkness)
The Pink Panther (aka "Steve Martin Gets Work")
3001 (Office Space's Mike Judge, writer/director)
Corpse Bride (Depp/Carter/Burton, again)
Serenity ('Nuff Said)
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit Starring Wallace & Gromit (Ditto)
Doom (This will be pure, uncut popcorn)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (I hope it's PG-13)
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (This had better not suck, but my expectations are low)

If you have not seen Firefly, this is a good time to hunt down a friend with a copy of the DVDs. A Western in Space (tm) with good writing, good acting, and, um.... more goodness!

So, what exactly did you do to get a movie made about you, anyway?

Well, for starters, I was knee deep in the dead....
Actually, it's a Freudian interpretation of my life, focusing on my id.
My character starts out very two-dimensional, but by the third act, has some depth.
