If you're frightened of dying,
and you're holding on,
you see devils tearing your life away -
if you've made your peace,
then the devils are really angels,
freeing you from the earth.

Because it means you're never afraid of death?

Also UNKLE's "Rabbit in Your Headlights". Beautiful song.

Oh, that's such a beautiful description of death. I'm adding this to my memories.

i liked that movie? but i watched it knowing most of the subtext involved, so i was a little underwhelmed. and the war bits aren't my thing.

but? it puts silent hill in a whole new perspective, so that's kewl. and i just found out it was based on the short story/film "incident at *somethingsomething* bridge/creek" which is the best short film i have ever seen.

ok. that's it. the end.

I've never even seen it. I only posted this in my journal because it's a sample from VNV Nation's Praise the Fallen. I'll try to take a look some time.

Doesn't anyone see that as EXACTLY what a demon trying to tear your life away would say? Just to get you to stop struggling and make the harvest easier?

I don't know, Minnesota Road Runner cable user, maybe it is. Or maybe it's a metaphor for something bigger than itself.
