A Million Random Digits

Bruce Schneier reminisces about the RAND Corporation's A Million Little Digits : With 100,000 Normal Deviates, which is a collection of random numbers from when computing random numbers was hard. The Amazon user reviews are absolutely hysterical. It started me reminiscing about A Dictionary of Real Numbers, a disturbingly finite tome which we read aloud to each other during Real Analysis and Abstract Algebra homework sessions. Believe me when I say: irrational numbers were just funnier then.
