Audio Levels

I think Fish was right when she said, "Fuck it - let's dance".

So I learned how to use Audacity last night, some time around 2 in the morning - this is the first set I mixed and sourced entirely with open source software, and that's a good feeling.

I fixed about five or six technical problems with the dj rig tonight, which I had previously felt entirely unqualified to do. For example, the crosser wasn't turning on - until we took it apart,  rerouted some errant wiring, and I was able to hold the fuse in place with a ruler, a stopwatch lanyard, and a bungee cord - I don't think I have ever felt more MacGuyver-esque in my life.

There's more but some other time. Thanks to all who came - and even though the most people on the floor at once was eight, it was still a whole lot of fun.
