Sitcoms are formulaic

The formula is as follows:

[((R x D + V) x F) + S]/A

"Comedic value is determined by multiplying the recognizability of the main character (R) by their delusions of grandeur (D). This is added to the verbal wit of the script (V), and the total is multiplied by the amount someone falls over or suffers a physical injury (F).

"The difference in social status between the highest- and lowest-ranking characters (S) is added, and finally the total is divided by the success of any scheme or stratagem in the show (A). Each term in the formula is assigned a value up to a maximum of 10 to give an overall scientific score."

Here's the original Zap2it article.
Walken The Walk

Stolen from gunn by reflexive tagging

List five songs that you are currently digging; it doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions, the artist and the song in your blog along with your five songs. Then tag five other people to see what they're listening to.

"Architecture of Aggression" - Megadeth (This song is über-Red meme)
Great nations built from the bones of the dead
With mud and straw, blood and sweat
You know your worth when your enemies
Praise your architecture of aggression

"Gimme the Prize" - Queen
News Reporter: . . . the garage is watered from the sprinklers. It also left a man's decapitated body lying on the floor next to his own severed head. The head, which at this time, has no name -
Kurgan: I know his name . . .

"Time to Start" - Blue Man Group (Favorite line is here)

"Here Comes A Special Boy" - Freezepop (You can pick it up your own copy here)

"Forever (Original Club Mix)" - Bruderschaft
And I will walk this ground forever / And stand guard against your name
I will give all I can offer / I will shoulder all the blame
I am sentry to you now / All your hopes and all your dreams
I will hold you to the light / That's what "forever" means

Those interested, go tag themselves.
