Rainer Maria Rilke's work is surprisingly balanced for somebody who has been through as much as they have - Baudelaire's is, well, not.

Sometimes, we speak in quotes. We believe that everything we wish we could say has been said before, and is exactly what we mean. So I created my alter-ego who speaks only in quotations, kalishari, to speak in quotations for me. There's more to it than that, but that's the seed of the idea. It's not emotional posturing- sometimes, I just need to be somebody else for awhile.

Now, ergo, half the battle. The other half is the gun(n)s.
