Also, I like the idea of spotting them from a crow's nest. Aren't they eaten by aligators, except that the aligators have ticking clocks inside that scare off all the birds?

Firstly, who did you think it was before? I don't comment on your journal much, but I have done it before.

Secondly, I'm doing okay. Not fantastic, but okay. I have a job doing programming for safety-critical/fault-tolerant software for civilian aircraft navigation. In shorter words, I write code for black boxes that tell planes where they are.
