How honest can I be with myself when I constantly see myself as a part of something larger? What is the difference between arrogance and self-esteem?

And where the hell am I?

And what am I doing in this hand-basket?

You're into Japanese fast food, and I dropped off your Japanese lover
I was listening to Haunted today. Perhaps you are part of something larger. Or lost in something larger.

pssst. you're so pretty when you're unfaithful to me, you're so PRETTY when you're unfaithful to me!

Oh, I know I'm part of something larger.

But it's very dark . . .

I could be eaten by a grue . . .

PS
I almost tried to put 302 into the set. But then I realized it would get infested by the word which must be struck through in red. And that would be bad.

I have it as an MP3 that I got from MZD's website. You too can own 302.mp3, if you look hard enough ;-)

Re: (It is footnote 302)
Something like, "It is difficult to slide uphill." or something to effect. I'll try to remember to check tomorrow.

It's complicated.
Ne, Flamingo-kun
you have hit it on the head:
words just aren't enough.
I just hope this "larger thing"
you're in is not The Matrix.

Re: It's complicated.
At work, people say "it's complicated" in order to steer you away from details, or because they want you to think they're steering you away from details, so you will ask. Work can be fun.

And I think the name of this larger thing is not.
a certain brand of escapeatelierlune on November 11th, 2003 10:00 pm (UTC)
It's difficult.
Is naught? Is Not? Isn't? Isn't what?

I was just curious if we were thinking of the same thing. Or not.

Cool beans!

I've been reading Ken Wilber and Thich Nhat Hanh again.
The short version of "the name of this larger thing is the name that is not the name of this larger thing because this larger thing is both without name, incapable of being named, and encompassing of all names."
a certain brand of escapeatelierlune on November 12th, 2003 06:46 am (UTC)
I must try them sometime.
Ah! So we are thinking about the same thing. Ok.

Me, I gave it my own name(s), and I just don't share them often.

so you know how you let your eye slide over a bit of text that you've seen before and suddenly it is horribly messed up because your brain tried to make sense of it without reading it all the way through?

i just looked at "Not able to control emotions" and saw "Not able to control bowels"

which got a chuckle out of me.
i thought you should know.
